Have you sorted your problem yet? I have a Mondeo TDCI, on several occasions the engine has cut out whilst driving and the glow plug warning light flashes, on most occasions the car will restart soon afterwards. It has been checked diagnostically & the main error that is stored is No1664, which seems to denote a fault with the low pressure fuel pump, but the garage mechanics have checked this out and the pump seems OK. Several Engine sensors have been replaced to no avail. Any ideas?
