2006 Ford Mondeo high revs

Hi all, when I turn the car over when in neutral I have high engine revs about 2000 rpm, and it's the same in 1st gear although when in second it calms down and it perfectly drivable with no problems

Could try cleaning throttle body .Or replacing engine coolant temp sensor .If faulty , sending wrong info to ECU .
