Convers+ displays and radio/cd/dab unit

Convers+ display stuck on trip computer and settings though intermittently shows menu for radio etc but never for long.
Radio/cd/dab head unit does not hold memory for time/date but does hold presets, sometimes it turns off and on of its own accord but when doing this if you turn it off then on it fixes it and goes to what it should do ie turn off when ignition is turned off etc which never lasts 1 minute

I have a brand new factory spec battery fitted today with no joy!

Our Mondeo head set and convers+ was doing exactly the same, then the instrument panel lighting and headlights would fail. 6 week later, a battery later, starter motor too and it turned out the Speedo and rev counter clocks had shorted out causing the whole lot to play up. Replaced both clocks and voila, perfect.
