2005 Ford Mondeo no power to radio

Radio was working fine until I went to put Halfords sold power lead in so I could use my pioneer system with stalk control, how check 7.5 amp fuse in port 69 but the fuse is ok, any other ideas, have also tried orignal ford 6000 cd system but nothing.
