2002 Ford Mondeo engine cutting out

when driving the engine coil light comes on and cuts out if i turn the key back and forward it starts. If stationary it starts as normal. it cut out 27 times on a 9 mile trip. Please Help Malcolm

So , so many causes .The best way is to get it scanned for fault codes otherwise just guessing .

I had the same issue turns out its the tuebo actuator go to a scrap yard you can get a used for around £20 it fixed my issue

IF it is the turbo actuator , you would be better to buy a new one at £55 with a two yr guarantee rather than fit a s/hand part that could be knackered for all you know as it is a common failure on that and other engines . If it was knackered it would show on a scan as suggested .
