possitive battery cable broke.repaired it but when turn ignition key car will not start,ie starter motor will not turn nor can i here fuel pump coming on.tightened battery cables up but still no joy.then found that there is no spark when you touch negative battery terminal.

Hi Chris, Is this what has caused your immobiliser prob? There should be a large fuse on the positive side of the battery have you checked this?

no fuse on positive side of battery that i can see
