After driving about 15mins my Mondeo started to shudder and was restricted to 25mph every time i stopped i thought the car was going to cut out. also there was a bad smell in the car like bad eggs. Also when the car was ticking over it was shuddering. any ideas.

Seems the car is not firing on all cyls .Could be many possible causes .You could check the plugs and leads for a start off point .Should be able to tell on examining plugs which cyl is not firing The smell is the cat convertor doing it's job with the unburnt fuel from engine running rough .
