2004 Ford Mondeo car judering and pumping out black smoke

the car juders about and pumps out the black smoke, but when the vaccum pipe is taken off, car runs smoothly.

that would indicate that you have a blockage along the vacuum circuit have it cleaned out and should run ok afterwards
