2001 Ford Mondeo remote central locking not working

When i lock my car using the remote central locking it locks itself then unlocks straight away but if i put the key into the door lock and turn the key it works fine and locks all the doors so anybody got any ideas

its probably the locking solenoid in the drivers door try unplugging that door and see if it still cycles when you use the remote
