i bought the car with 11 6 month old miles on the clock ex showroom model the problem is on long run in CC 43 mpg over a full tank (combined) 36mpg , lack of power above 50 and i think it missing the ford dealer service manager is trying to convince me this is normal ,the computor say there is no fault, they as dealers are not allowed by ford to reboot the EMS , and i cannot drive the car i have had 9 of these cars but not like this one

Check. EGR value
Could be block
Take car onto motorway take speed upto
70 mph in 5 gear
So the Revs are over 2000 revs per min
Drive for last 20-30 miles
And cleans the DFP FILTER aswell

If your not happy , take it to another dealership for a second opinion / checking .

Assume the car is still under warranty ? if so do not do any work on car yourself as it will give the dealership / Ford a cause invalidate your warranty .
