1997 Ford Mondeo starting problem (klick and wippers come on)

Do you have full battery voltage if yes,then you need to check your getting power to the starter motor the small connection when ignition is cranked if yes then either the earth is poor,starter is jammed .tapping the solenoid with a hammer may cause the solenoid to un-jam,or you could try rocking the car in 3rd gear incase it,s jammed.
