2000 Ford Mondeo no compression engine will turn over

i was on the motorway when i had lost of power i get it on to the hardshlouder the greenflag came out said it was the bottom hose he take the car to a loca gargea they say it has no compress on the head gaskit is ok need help plzz

if loss of compression then could be damaged valves or valve seats that could be a costly repair
