my heater will only blow on to the windscreen even when you change it to blow in car. any ideas. 2001 1.8lx

Sounds like somthings got a bit jammed, had this on a few of my older cars. Open up the bonnet and take a look when a mate flips the directional control to all the different settings, see if its doing anything.
Failing that use the Russian approach sit there and flip the control knob forward back forward back etc, be a bit rough with it, it may unstick somthing.. thats worked for me in the past on some cars, but not all the time, thats all I can think of!
