The steering sticks when the clutch pedal is depressed fully, there are no problems steering when the car is in neutral or driving along in gear just when the clutch is depressed. please if you would have any ideas on what could be causing t his problem it would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of that before .Only thing I can suggest is to check steering column / intermediate shaft and see if anything fouling when pedal depressed .
