ECU light on after battery fault

2004 Ford Mondeo 1.8 LX
Car: Ford Mondeo
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.8 LX
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I had an issue where I tried to start the car and the dials on the dash moved up and down and the engine did not start.

I charged the battery now all OK. The fault reset the fuel mpg and the trip omiter. But also now the ECU light is on.

I checked the oil and that was at min - so topped it up. Any other ideas of what could be causing the light to come on ?

Cheers

Diconnect the possitive for about 10 mins reconnect this normaly works as long as there is no fault on the system if it stays on run it down to your local garage or a mate and ask for a diagnostic check should not cost much and it will tell you if you have a fault and what it is
