2004 Ford Mondeo vibration noise

Year: 2004
Variant: mistral 5 door

Vibration noise audible when car starting off , accelerating sounds as though coming from steering collum area. I have no problems with steering and no noise heard once car moving only when pulling away?
Would be grateful of any comments ideas.

Could check steering column intermediate shaft /coupling and engine mountings for wear .

Is that the steering rack, mate ?

No , it joins the steering column to the steering rack . This is the best I can find just now to show you the set up ,should help you .
