2006 Ford Fusion windscreen washer not working

When pressing for screenwash, front or back, you can hear the pump but no water comes out.
I've already disconnected the pipes to the outlets (front and rear) to check if there was a blockage but still no water came out on activation. I also found that I am able to suck water through (using my mouth) ... so defiantly no blockages ... but why doesn't it work???
Any info would be much appreciated!

the pumps on fords are poor all you need to do is replace it
