Auto Transmission red and buzzer sounded

Driving hom 30mph red light came on and warning buzzer sounded and a fault message advising to check owners manual re auto transmission fault.

There is not much in the owners book, bit like take me to your dealer :-) The car is serviced regularly and the auo fluid is full?

Any ideas anyone?

i would advise taking it to have any fault codes read.
