Ford Focus Steering Column Problems

each time i turn steering to full left lock engine stops for no reason help required please

Just bought a 2000 focus and when you steer right after having the wheel straight it seems to be stiff to turn just for a split second

the odemeter light stays on any ideas to clear only just started doing it but starting to drain battery

How I have lost use of all the voice control options so have no radio sat nav or phone also easy lights do not go out when I pick the car and wait.How do I fix this ?
