Washing the Front Seats

2004 Ford Focus 1.8TDCI Steel
Car: Ford Focus
Year: 2004
Variant: 1.8TDCI Steel
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I want to remove the two front seats to powerwash them as they are filthy. The seats do not have Airbag Tags on the side of them but they are connected in some manner to a Cable which I assume is for the Seat Belt pre tensioner.

Is what I want to do possible and how do I disconnect the cable without causing any problems.

I already have taken out the seat base of the back seat and powerwashed it and it has turned out fine having left it dry in the Sun for a day or two.

With the problems you've got with the cooling system , dont think you should be removing seats and giving yourself more possible faults with seat belt pre tensioners / air bags .

That is cetainly a fair point. I also have a query up in relation to ABS on a 407 - have you any thoughts on that issue?.
