Metalic grinding noise when doing hard right, from cold

2009 Ford Focus TDCi 1.6
Car: Ford Focus
Year: 2009
Variant: TDCi 1.6
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
I bought the car 3 weeks ago and have heard a noise coming from somewhere under the bonnet, under very specific circumstances.

The car park where I work is flat, but exits onto a slight hill. To leave the car park requires almost-full-right lock, in 1st gear, onto this hill.

As I begin to straighten up, I hear a brief grinding noise. It sounds metallic, maybe plastic, last anywhere between quarter and 1 full second, depending on the exact speed/lock/angle I have the car at. I'm never doing more than about 5mph at the time.

The sound is accompanied by nothing else - I can feel nothing through the wheel, pedals or seat.

If I drive back into the car park and perform exactly the same manoeuvre again, the sound isn't there. It seems to be only occurring when the car is very recently started.

Anyone got any clues? Its still within warranty but i'm reluctant to take it into a dealership if they won't be able to reproduce it and will charge me £100 for labour!

A big ask to find a noise that lasts for " anywhere between quarter and 1 full second, depending on the exact speed/lock/angle I have the car at. I'm never doing more than about 5mph at the time. " and in only that " very specific circumstances "
