2002 Ford Focus loss of acceleration

My car has all of a sudden lost all power! It does not accelerate as it did but when it gets up to about 70mph it seems to be ok. I need to drive to work tomorrow but i don't know if i am going to do any more damage by driving it. Help??!!

the car may just require a good service which may help but would advice a diesel specialist to have a look at it as you are dealing with diesel here

most common on these is the mass air flow sensor and egr valve problems

all fixed now!! air intake pipe had popped off the turbo. if that makes sense? not to me!
