1999 Ford Focus turbo whistle at 2500rpm

Hi. When accelerating at about 2500rpm a whistling noise can be heard from my turbo. If I take my foot off the accelerator the noise stops. The car is Y reg and has 159000 miles. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks Scott

Don't think it's abnormal or any thing to worry about if driving o.k and no rattles from turbo .Might be wrong , but if so , no doubt someone will come on and correct me !!!!

depends how loud the whistling noise is as to whether it is normal or not,
