Warning lights, speedo, rev and temp droping

i am unsure if these problems are linked, but the car has been fine for 2 years now this... the engine is slow turing over to start. battery and alternater are ok though. the engine management light comes on intermitantly, and the temp, rev and speedo drop to 0. any help will be much appriciated. thanks.

Hi,
The faults you describe may all be linked to a poor engine earth, have an electrician check for voltage drop between the engine earth and the battery negative terminal whilst cranking the engine (out of gear), there should be less than 0.5 volts showing on the meter, any more than this will show that there is a bad connection.
If this proves not to be the case, I'll look out for any more posts from you.

hi is the tension ok on belt for alternator. could be engine earth either as discribed in previous post

Could be a lazy starter , might be worth getting it tested .Temp / rev / speedo is a known and common fault with instrument cluster , i.e see here ,
