2000 Ford Focus air bag light coming up on dash

hi a few days ago i noticed that the airbag light has come up on the dash and hasnt gone off since. any ideas??

check the airbag and seatbelt pretensioner connectors under the seat,try pulling them apart spraying them with wd40 and connecting them together a few times,also checking the wires are not damaged,if no joy then you need to check the fault codes
