2003 Ford Focus rear winsdscreen washer leaking into car inside when turned on

Open the hatch and in the top corners you will see two flexible, convoluted tubes. These carry the electrics and washer tube into the tailgate. Over time the tube (and wires) can fatigue and fracture. My guess is that the screenwash tube is broken in this area and when operated its squirting fluid into the headlining above the hatch. The tube can be joined with a short length of copper brake pipe or similar.
