Hi, I have just bought a 2001 ford focus zetec 1.4, i have a problem with the revs. When u turn the engine on it revvs at 1500 then when you put your foot down on the gas it reaches 2000 revvs then sits there for about 8-10secs. It also seems to rev high when changing gear, the revvs get higher as soon the clutch is put down and only drop when its back in gear and the clutch pedal is released. what is the problem? any bodys help would be much aprecciated
