2004 Ford Focus clunk from steering wheel only in one direction

My car has a clunk in the steering wheel but only in one direction.
I have been told it could be the rack but i have not lost fluid and it only happend the one way.
Any ideas what it could be?

could be the steering rack at fault here but also could be the cv joint that need s replacing have this checked by a garage to be sure as you dont want to replace one of the items and the problem still be there

Check front anti roll bar link on side knock coming from .
