originaly internal fan speed 1 - 3 not working 4 working now fan not working at all. Already tried new heater resistor to no avail

Every car I've had with that fault , not just Fords has been ballast resistor . Have you checked fuse for heater ?

My fan was only working on position 4 (1 - 3 not working). My garage fitted a new switch and that cured it.

Case of testing if power getting to fan/motor , if so knacked motor
