2006 Ford Focus power steering rack leaks at pipe fitting

Hi, my focus has a leak at the one of the metal pipes that is fitted on the steering rack . the garage that i put it in for repair says that ford will not sell a new pipe as it comes only with a new steering rack .Can someone confirm this is true or is there specialist company that will supply this pipe.

All you have to do is phone any Ford parts dept. yourself and ask . If not available ,get faulty pipe and any hydraulic pipe manufacturer will make one for you .Either that or go to scrappy ,lot cheaper than replacing rack.
