speedo drops to nothing when driving also slight loss of power as well as the mileage going blank returns some times a few seconds some times couple of minutes or if u accelarate hard when the speedo is dropping.

I have a friend who experienced same issue - it was the speed sensor on the box - ford dealer replacement was £27 - he paid a garage a £10 to fit it
