I HAVE HAD A NEW CAT CONVERTER FITTED 3 DAYS AGO AND I HAVE A FUNNY SMELL COMING FROM THE AIR VENTS AND IT IS MAKING ME FEEL SICK AND GIVING ME HEADACHES.BOUGHT CAR 9WKS AGO AND HAVE HAD LOTS OF PROBS LIKE ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON TOLD IT WAS THE CAT NOT WORKING PROPERLY SO TOOK CAR BACK TO WHERE I BOUGHT IT WAS TOLD THE PROB WAS SORTED.THEN CAR KEPT CUTTING OUT AT LIGHTS AND JUNCTIONS SO TOOK IT BACK AGAIN TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG.THEN WENT TO ANOTHER GARAGE AND WAS TOLD THE CAT HAD A MAJOR PROB SO YET AGAIN TOOK IT BACK TO WHERE I BOUGHT ITAND THEY FITTED A NEW CAT NOW THERE IS THIS FUNNY SMELL MAKING ME FEEL ILL AND THE CAR REVS AT 1.5 WHEN IDILING AND EXHAUST IS MAKING A FUNNY NOISE WHEN I GIVE ITR SOME REVS ANY IDEAS DONT WANT TO GO BACK TO THIS GARAGE AS I FEEL I AM GETTING FOBED OFF WITH BEING A FEMALE NEED SOME ADVISE.

it sounds like the exhaust is incorrectly fitted
in our workshops we use a smoke pro which checks for leakage you need to find a garage that has one of thease to give confirmation of the fault
