You sure it's the correct key ? Not sure what model it is as they changed to MK 2 later in that year , but would check all fuses that may be related . There is a fuse on the MK 2 67 10 Immobilizer module (WFS), instrument cluster (ignition supply) Ford Focus (2004 – 2010) – fuse box diagram Year of production: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Passenger Compartment Fuse Box (2004-2007) Ford Focus - fuse box diagram - passenger compartment Ford Focus – fuse box diagram – passenger compartment No. A Protected components 37 10 Left-hand headlight (high beam) 38 10 Right-hand headlight (high beam) 39 20 Cigar lighter, rear auxiliary power socket 40 20 Sliding roof 41 20 Door module (passenger door) 42 7.5 Outside rear view mirror defoggers 43 10 Electronic modules (battery supply) 44 10 OBD II (board computer diagnostics) 45 10 Daytime running lights 46 10 Instrument cluster, GEM module 47 15 Washer pump, heated washer nozzles 48 20 Low beam headlights, daytime running lights 49 15 Headlight switch 50 20 Windshield wiper 51 15 Fuel pump 52 25 Rear window defroster 53 7.5 Parking lamps, side lamps, tail lamps (left-hand side) 54 7.5 Parking lamps, side lamps, tail lamps (right-hand side) 55 20 Door module (driver door), central locking system 56 20 Keyless entry system 57 10 Alarm horn 58 15 Audio modules (battery supply) 59 25 Luggage compartment auxiliary power socket, trailer tow module 60 15 Right-hand headlight (low beam) 61 15 Left-hand headlight (low beam) 62 20 Power seat (driver side) 63 25 Power windows 64 – Not used 65 10 Airbag module 66 7.5 Headlight adjustment switch, low beam headlights, xenon module 67 10 Immobilizer module (WFS), instrument cluster (ignition supply) 68 7.5 Radio, instrument cluster 69 20 Fog light 70 10 Electronic modules (ignition supply) 71 10 Daytime running lights 72 25 GEM 73 7.5 Number plate lights 74 15 Stop light 75 10 Transmission control module, accelerator pedal 76 7.5 Electric parking brake (EPB) 77 25 Central locking relays 78 15 Rear window wiper 79 15 Folding mirror 80 10 Interior lights, outside rear view mirrors 81 20 Door module (right-hand rear) 82 20 Door module (left-hand rear) 83 10 CD-changer, rear seat entertainment (RSE) 84 10 Back-up light, trailer tow module 85 10 Cooling system 86 20 Seat heater Relay K1 Rear window defroster K4 Fuel pump K5 Daytime running lights

You checked to see what fault code is flashing ? After turning on the ignition and the light will flashing rapidly . leave the light flashing for 1 minute It should the give you a flash code for example 1 flash ( pause ) then 2 flashes this indicates flash code 12

Yes I have read flash code 15

Flash code 15 on the passive anti theft system (PATS) is incorrect key code or un programmed key being used. If you have another key try that . Could try the key programming process in owners handbook if you have one and see if it fixes the problem. If not , you may need to either get a new key or have the key programmed by a garage / mobile car lock specialist .

Check of all the system is not complete since last memory clear B1601. Pats received incorrect key-code from ignition transponder B1342 . Pats malfunction P1000. Check of all the system is not complete since last memory clear B1601. Pats received incorrect key-code from ignition transponder Wish I could send the picture. But when I send this report to locksmith he says it’s not key it’s so thing to do with wiring or ecu fuses. Not keys. I got both original keys both are not working.

This is list of fault codes , cant do any more than already suggested Check DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) on your vehicle using flash codes PATS LED INDICATOR The LED indicator is used for the PATS system and also other Anti-theft systems fitted to the Ford vehicle range. When the ignition is switched ON, the PATS LED will illuminate for 3 seconds while it performs a self-test, after which it extuingishes. When the PATS system is armed and immobilised the vehicle, the PATS LED will flash quickly. If there is a fault on the PATS system, and the engine can start, the PATS LED will illuminate for 60 seconds continuously, and then flash the PATS fault code 10 times. If the engine is unable to start and disabled by the PATS system, then the PATS LED will FLASH for 60 seconds and then flash the PATS fault code 10 times. PATS LED is mounted either in the front headlining or next to the heater controls/clock. The PATS system has it’s own self diagnosis test procedure which flashes codes. The PATS LED will flash quickly for 1 minute, and then start flashing the fault code as follows:- Example : code 31 3 Flashes 1 Flash Three seconds delay Repeat of code for 10 times Code Descriptions :- Code 11 Transceiver not connected Code 12 Transceiver Code 13 No key data received Code 14 Part of the transponder code received Code 15 Wrong transponder key Code 21 Less than the minimum keys required programmed Code 22 Failed diesel pump control unit identification Code 23 The response code between pump control unit & powertrain LED = Always ON or OFF Check the fuse 15 (5 amp)
