2008 Ford Focus clutch pedal grinding and noise from engine when clutch engaged.

There is a feeling that the clutch pedal is grinding ever so slightly impressed and as soon as the clutch pedal is pressed there is an odd sound from the engine bay. I’m guessing the clutch itself is starting to slip and may need replaced?

You may be right with clutch needing replaced , sounds like clutch thrust bearing worn
