2002 Ford Focus headlights lighting up slightly when braking.

Can anyone help ?

My Ford Focus estate has a strange problem -When I press the brakes the headlights lightup dimly.
It's not a big problem except if somebody thinks I'm flashing them to come out at a junction when I'm just slowing down.

bad earth if you can remove all the earth points that are related to the lights clean them and replace this will sort the problem out but it will come back again so just be aware
