2016 Ford Focus “insert nav sd card”

The car appears to be equipped with Sync2 Navigation. However I purchased an F7 SD card off ebay, inserted the card in the SD slot and the display says “insert nav SD card”. Doesn't appear to recognise card is inserted. Any Ideas? thanks.
