my battery keeps going flat ,got new smart battery but same again.then i noticed when i press the stop engine button the engine runs on for a few seconds before stopping .i can jump start car and it will run ok ,but battery dies after parking up and alarm goes off at all hours .can anyone put light on my problem cheers dallo.

it sounds like a problem with the ignition and it is not switching off fully meaning all systems still awake and drawing from battery

Check for a parasitic drain .
