Wipers stop working

2006 Ford Focus ZETEC CLIMATE TDCI
Car: Ford Focus
Year: 2006
Variant: ZETEC CLIMATE TDCI
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The wipers work for about 30 mins and then stop working except for the rear wiper. Start working again after being switched off for a couple hours.

It needs a Global scan done.
Wipers are controlled by a module that if I recall is up under the dash in the passengers foot well.
Sounds like yours has developed a fault so the global scan scans every module in the car.

Front and rear are two seperate motors . Could disconnect wiper linkage at motor and check if wiper spindles free and not partially seized .Could also be motor .
