2002 Ford Focus loss of power and jolting after 3000rpm

Hi, when driving my car past 3000rpm it starts to lurch, as if you were putting your foot down on the and then taking it off and then putting it down again. Have tryed new spark plugs and now i am out off ideas. Any help would be great thanks in advance.

sounds like a mass air flow fault. have it plugged in and diagnosed. could also be a simple air leak. hope this helps!!
