1999 Ford Focus clunking noise

Reversed off the drive this morning turning the steering wheel sharp right and there was a really loud bang (front passenger side). Didnt hear anything else until I went round an island and heard the same clunk/bang again. It seems to make the noise when turning the wheel full lock to the right. Any suggestions?

the cv joint has failed so you need to get it replaced asap or you will be stranded with out no drive as the joint has completely gone this will cost you about £45 to buy a replacement item but remember to let them no if its got abs and other things and there will be a surcharge on the item as well which you will get back on return of the old unit
