My fan wont turn off for some reason never had this problem in over a year of having the car I have disconected the battery now to turn it off. Before I disconected the battery it was on for over an hour. Can any one please tell me what is up with the fan please.....

Do you mean radiator engine cooling fan,?

If it's the engine cooling fan , could be a sticking relay .If not that , a common fault on some Focus cars is the radiator fan resistor assembly – which is fitted to the top of the fan shroud on some models .
