2005 Ford Focus central locking not working

Car: Ford Focus
Year: 2005
Variant: RSI
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Ford focus central locking will open all doors but not the tailgate - will not lock anything. Also inside indicator on dash does not register light or noise although external indicators all work - could this be a need for fuse replacement?

Sounds like the system needs resetting. Take a look in the owners manual to see if it tells you how to do a central locking reset...

Solution turned out to be - clod hopper son had accidentally dislodged the wiring in the passenger footwell which in turn created all of the problems mentioned - it was a half an hour job costing only £22.00 by a electrical mechanic as opposed to the dealers quote of approx £80.00 for up to a 2 hour diagnoses then potential parts and time thereafter.
