2001 Ford Focus rear demister stays on and now have a misfire

i have recently adopted a misfire on my focus aswell as the rear demister button staying on,dont fancy being stung by a local garage to plug in,any ideas,cheers mark.

You dont say what year car is .If the demister button is sticking , probably needs replacing or you could remove it and try some electrical spray on it .First thing I would check for misfire would be plugs and leads ,Sometimes get water in plug wells also .
