2006 Ford Focus running lumpy

Car: Ford Focus
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.8 Diesel estate
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Car starts and idles fine. reving up makes engines very lumpy (seems like not all cylinders ok. rev counter jumps down to zero at times when this is happening. checked compression and injectors they OK. better when revs high in turbo.

could be a fuel/air leak. Maybe get the fuel filter changed and have the fuel pressure checked
