2006 Ford Focus rear wiper keeps stopping

when I operate the rear wiper It stops mid wipe so i have to turn it on and off to get it to park. does anyone have a solution to my problem?

sounds like a faulty motor.

the rear wiper operates without problems when using wash/wipe option but under normal use it is erratic.
