2004 Ford Focus C-Max poor or no starting

Car: Ford Focus C-Max
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.0L Duratorq-TCDi (DW) Diesel
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
About a week ago my vehicle would not start on the button, all dash lights were on but turn the key to start and nothing, except a relay click in the dash!Other times it starts perfectly.
Well now its got a lot worse, having up to 10 attempts before it might start or not.
I've noticed that coincidently if the radio has been left on when l've stopped the car,if it does not come on the car won't start also sometimes it will give a partial start before going dead. Also the engine when turning over at start vibrates badly sometimes.
Any ideas?

these suffer from lazy worn out starter motors.
another possibility is the immobilizer is not reading your key.read your owners handbook and it will describe the behaviour of the red LED by the clock. the way this flashes/illuminates will tell you if the key is recognised by the car as you turn the ignition. if you feel the key may be the problem try using the spare key to see if things improve for you.
