Never done one but see if this applies ,
Boot side panel removal
HiJust fitted a towbar to my 07 C-Max.I need to wire in the towing electrics fo a small trailer.How do I remove the boot side panels to be able to route the cabling ? I don't want to force things.Will be using a 7 way relay unit just in case.

Coincedence or what! Just doing my towbar electrics.
There is one screw in the cubby hole the rest is just gentle pulling.
You will need to remove the upper (grey/white) trim first
My electrics are a nightmare. Bought a genuine bar and electrics off ebay but the wiring was just cut so had to join it all back together...........growl!!
