2002 Ford Fiesta heater not working properly

The heater only gets luke warm at best and then will go cold and may not get warm again,and sometimes it does not get warm at all

some models have a valve located in wiperbox(tray under wiper arms) this regulates temp to heater.remove upper trim if so jst replace

As "mr suzuki " suggests , heater control valve is common fault .Try feeling how hot the heater pipes that go into valve at bulkhead are .Assume engine temp is o.k and not reading low ?
