Central locking only works on the passenger side

Hi central locking will not work on drivers side,(will lock but wont unlock )BUT will lock and unlock on the passenger side,its a five door,(hatch back ) but independent locking boot, sudden problem ?has any one any idea's please thanks

i would say you need a replacement solenoid in the drivers door these can be picked up from most local breakers yards as will be cheaper than the dealer prices

If you strip down door trim , you will see smsll spring on lock mechanism which breaks , common fault .
