1996 Ford Fiesta nearside rear break pipe leaking

Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 1996
Variant: 1,2
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi,
my car just failed on its MOT yesterday with a lots of problem.
all over corroded but the biggest problem is that the nearside rear brak pipe is leaking and the break pedal creeps down while the pedal is held under pressure.

i would like to know how much it cost a new break pipe and the fitting beacuse the garage quated me 520 pound to fix everything, but the car it self does not value that price,

please advise me if you can ASAP
i use a car for working, essential

thanks

If it's only the brake pipe from the rear wheel cyl. to flex hose , you're only talking about an hours labour + pipe + brake fluid . Must be a lot more involved to get an estimate of £520 !!!! Might be better to get a second estimate .

is it the flexi hose that goes to the wheel cylinder or the metal brake pipe that goes from the flexi to a joiner near the centre of the car either way this job is not expensive to rectify as they would just make a new metal brake pipe up and fit,or change the flexy hose
